There is a time in the F1 driver’s flight where he needs to make a call for his future and confidence in the team, which is part of it. At the same time, there is a point in the driver’s profession where he must make a call about whether he wants to continue the race for the team who committed his future.
Both these calls are difficult to make, however, the trend that these calls take determines how the job driver highlights. It can be said that one of the best calls that define his career in F1 history was when Lewis Hamilton decided that time had come to reduce relationships with McLaren and move to Mercedes.
He was a world champion already by that time, but what was ended in Mercedes was building the F1 breed. The driver won 6 world championships, and since then, it has grown to an icon for this sport.
It can be said that three drivers on the current network are facing the same situation in their career. These drivers need to change their teams to achieve the success of F1. Who are they? Let’s take a look.
Unless the Alps is a team purchased by a group led by Christian Horner, Pierre Jasli needs to start urgently searching for a house far from Eston because this team does not look good. It seems clear a day with how Flavio Briaatore changes the driver’s changes that he is trying to find quickly the best possible mixture for the team that can get the best possible result and help raise the team’s price to the potential buyer.
This is not a team with a long -term vision of growth, nor is it not a team that seems to be an attractive place for talent at the present time. You add both, and you will get a perfect recipe for a team that does not look at a strong enough future.
There is certainly some hope that the Mercedes Energy Unit deal will help, but so that it cannot be enough to adhere to a team that may be good like a drowning boat at the moment.
Well, just like his former Red Bull teammate, it’s time for Max Verstapen. The man who took the team went to glory. Whether it is Versaben a role in that or not, it is a different question, but there is a fact that as soon as Horner leaves, the Austrian team will now take some time to rebuild.
The ruling F1 champion is certainly not a driver ready to spend his time on projects, and this may be the perfect operator for him to take leave.
#1 Charles Licerk (Ferrari)
Well, just like Max Verstapen, it is definitely time for Charles Leclerc to look beyond Ferrari for the future. Monegasque has been part of the team since 2019 and has not yet fighted for the title during all this time. One can try to put some blame on the driver, but the fact is that the team has been in a state of chaos since it joined, and instead of reassemble and improvement, it has moved from one crisis to another.
F1 drivers have not won in Ferrari since 2007, not a surprise. If something has not been working for nearly a decade, it is better to call it time and move to better things. One can hope Charles Licerrek also do so.
