Phil Mickelson opened his 2025 open championship campaign with a steady performance in the first round, where he won one temperature at Royal Portrush. Starting from the ninth front, Micolson made two spectrum and seven Pars to publish two of 34 at the turn. He mobilized Par-5 and the seventh PAR-5, while maintaining Par on the remaining holes abroad.

After losing the reduction in each of the three main championships in the season, Phil Mickelson made an offer to start its week in Northern Ireland. By playing in the morning wave, he completed his tour before the rains moved during the afternoon, which allowed him to move in the session under more appropriate conditions.
The 55 -year -old, who is leading the LIV GOLF’s High Flyers, has returned to the club with equality, which represents a positive start to his campaign in the final amount of the year.

“I really enjoy playing these circumstances and playing this tournament. It’s just a lot of fun. I hit a lot of good shots today, and it wasn’t very stressful.”
At the age of 55, Mickelson is a six -time champion, with his victory in Muirfield in 2013 standing as a professional series. He often indicated the victory in Jug Claret as the most important achievement in his career.
