Alex Ella’s ascension to the stardom of tennis has caused great attention from Filipino sports fans. But the world of social media is not all rainbows alone.
The 20 -year -old Eyla gained more fans and brought more love for Filipino tennis after dreaming of her dream in the Miami Open, where she defeated three heroes in the four major championships to reach the semi -finals.

But with increased attention, the criticism came. A series of early exits after Miami led to hate comments from some informal fans and new supporters.
However, she chose to adhere to the positives, which is grateful for the increasing support for Filipino tennis over the past three months.
“On the one hand, I do not care about many negative comments,” Eyla said during a meeting and greeting organized by her main supporter on Friday. “One mentality I have is, there is a lot of the mentality that I get from Benweys. So why do I focus on Kung Conte Conte Lang? Usually, these people do not know about tennis, and many people do not know what is going on behind the scenes.”

A graduate of the RAFA NADAL Academy is still not polite due to doubts, as it focuses on improving and achieving more for the country.
“I am very confident in myself, in my team, and in my work. I know that we are doing things correctly and I am doing my best. So confidence allows me not to be affected by some comments,” Ella said. “I am only grateful for all love and support.”

Being a path for Filipino tennis is what drives it in the championship.
“It is a great honor. I just have to do my best to behave as much as possible because I know that, especially in the international tennis scene, I am a kind of what comes to mind when they think about the Philippine. It will compete in the United States Open in late August, but it first heads to Canada to attend 1,000 possible tennis in Montreal and Sinsenati, then to WTA 500 in Monterrey and a championship in New York.
Later this year, Elaa will also see measures in Asia, including events in China and Hong Kong.
