Stop using payroll auditing and use forensic auditing to catch ghost name generators – Kwaku Asari said

A popular colleague at the Center for Democratic Development (CDD) Mr Kwaku Asare explained in an interview with Joy news file that the Auditor General’s Department should stop using payroll audit to find ghost names.

He said the names of the ghosts on the payroll have been with us for a very long time and will continue to appear until we find who created them.

Mr. Kwaku Asare continued to advise the Auditor General’s Department to inculcate the use of forensic audits in hunting ghost creators so that they are dealt with radically.

Ghana has currently lost 564.2 million Ghana cedis due to ghost names.

This has been happening since we were born and cannot continue.
