At least four people were killed and six were wounded after a car crashed through the wall of the daytime care center in Chatham, Illinois on Monday.
Those who were all killed between the ages of 4 and 18.
Vice Chief of Chatham Scott Tarter I told the local broadcaster wcia The car has been pushed across the eastern side of the Ynot Outdoors Center, which is the post -school program, and the other side comes out.
Tarter said that the police were called at about 3:20 pm local time. The driver was not injured, but was transferred to evaluate a local evaluation hospital. Also, all the injured were transferred to hospitals.
“My heart is with families and loved ones, all of whom are influenced by the horrific tragedy that struck Chatham today,” said Christine Chiaro, the village secretary in an article on Facebook Monday evening.
“Thank you the first respondents for doing what you can. There is no more strict circumstance. Since the details are revealed, we must take care of each other with the sadness of our society.”
She said that the consultation will be available at Glenwood Intermediate School for affected students, employees and family members, starting from Tuesday morning, while Glinwood Secondary School will host a donation station from 10 am
According to the authorities, the car hit several people outside the Ynot building, crashed across the wall, hit more people inside, then crashed again.
Illinois police said that one of the people who died was inside the building, while the other three were abroad.

Chatham is southwest of Springfield in southern Illinois, about an hour and a half drive from St. Louis.
