Closing

The RWANDA Association for Criktat Malawi and Bahrain will host a triple series from July 18 to 27. The Gahanga International Cricket in Kigali will host all 13 matches of the competition.

The teams will compete in the coordination of Robin Circle, which will watch them play eight league matches. After that, the first two teams will lock the centuries in the final on July 27. Interestingly, it will be the first T20i meeting between Bahrain teams and Rwanda teams for men.

Rwanda last competed in the 2024 African Continent Cup, as it ranked third among four teams with three wins in nine games. Oscar Manesmoy was their best with 251 runs, while Mohamed Nader was impressed by taking 11 texts.

Meanwhile, Bahrain and Malawi competed in the Cup of Quartets earlier this month. The Malawi team ended in last place with its solitary victory in six games. Sami Sohail (170 runs) contributed more than others with bats, while Daniel Jacil was good for them to take six share.

With four wins in six games, Bahrain ended the top of the table, and continued to win the title as well. FIAZ Ahmed (257 Runs) was the best bread, while Rizwan Butt returned as the best player with 12 texts.

It should be noted that Rwanda and Malawi will look to prepare themselves well for the 2026 T20 World Cup qualifications. On the other hand, Bahrain was already eliminated from the race to the International Criminal Court event.
