Manila, the Philippine-Gilas Pilipinas’s tour of the Fiba ASIA Cup for the year 2025 stopped on Friday night after losing 104-71 to South Korea at the Shenzen Sports Center in China.
The Playof of the Filipinos’ defeat has been destroyed in reaching the semi -finals, as it awaits a match with Poworhaus Australia.

This came two days after the women surprised Gilas Lebanon in a 73-70 nail to get a place in the World Cup qualifiers and keep an introduction in the Asia FIPA section.
After accommodating a 30-16 deficit by the Koreans at the end of the opening period, the Philippines were unable to install any kind of return until the exit.
“They got some easy baskets for us and it was difficult for us to get baskets [of our own]. “I think this is an educational stage again for us,” said Gilas coach.

Naomi Panjaniban again canceled the women in Gilas with 19 points, four rebound balls, three passes and theft in defeat. Vanessa de Jesus and Cassi Della Rosa also spread 15 and 10 points, respectively, but to no avail.
Hairan Lee dominated the offensive side of Korea with 24 points based on three times, while Yolim Kang’s 21st signs helped the issue in the victory that sent them to the semi -finals.
The Philippines still have another match in the Continental continent on Saturday, this time against New Zealand to determine the fifth and sixth -year -old in the Asian Cup.
