The Hong Kong Food Safety Authority has issued instructions to business to remove the Haribu Single products from the shelves as a precautionary measure, following reports from the Netherlands from hemp pollution in certain groups of popular sweets and suspending import from Taiwan.
In response to Post inquiries, a government spokesman said on Sunday that although there were no local reports on a disease related to German sweets Haribo, the food safety center was taking measures due to results abroad.
“There were no reports on discomfort between [residents] In Hong Kong, the consumption of the migrants that the cola lacks.
“However, in response to foreign reports and as a precaution, the Food Safety Center in the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department helped to notify the industry to temporarily remove the brand’s brands from the shelves.”
The government confirmed that it will test tests on the gums that were called and continue to monitor the situation.
The spokesman added: “If any problems are found, the corresponding measures will be taken and ads will be issued.”
