Legislation to end the employment of care workers from abroad as part of a set of immigration repairs will be submitted.
The new rules that must be placed in Parliament on Tuesday will also seek to increase salary sills and skills to the level of certificate for skilled workers, which will reduce the eligibility of 111 professions.
The limited temporary deficiency list will also be presented until the end of 2026 for a level of less than a degree, as the employment of foreign workers is a key to building critical infrastructure or industrial strategy.
But these workers will not be able to bring their families and will not be entitled to obtain salary and visa fee discounts.

Legislative measures are the first changes in the policy that is presented from the white paper of the government to tighten controls and reduce immigration to the United Kingdom.
“We are providing a full reset of our immigration system to restore the appropriate control and the system, after the previous government allowed the net migration to a quarter in four years,” said Interior Minister Evet Cooper.
“These new rules mean stronger controls to reduce deportation, to restore the system to the immigration system and to ensure a focus on investing in skills and training here in the United Kingdom.”
Changes, if approved by deputies and peers, will enter into force as of July 22.
It is also expected that there will be other white paper measures, such as increasing English requirements and raising immigration skills fees by the end of the year.
The white paper aims to reduce numbers, cling to the regime’s violations and end dependence on cheap foreign workers.
The Ministry of Interior estimates that the changes from the plan can reduce the number of people coming to the United Kingdom by up to 100,000 annually, when looking at eight of its proposals, including study, work, and level higher than the English language requirements.
However, moving to scrap worker visas raised fears from this sector, as the GMB national officer Dalton described the decision as a “possible catastrophe” as the care sector “depended completely on migrant workers” and still has more than 130,000 vacancies across the country.
The Ministry of Interior believes that there are 40,000 potential members who were originally brought by “rogue” service providers who can work in the sector while training UK employees.
Transitional arrangements were also appointed for foreign care workers in the United Kingdom on Tuesday.
