The biggest community awards in Ireland, the IPB PRID of Place will be hosted by Limrick and the provincial council this year.
Hundreds of delegates from all the four provinces are scheduled to travel to Limerick’s Strand for awards on Friday, November 7.
The awards were officially launched on Wednesday 11 March at King John’s Castle, an annual competition organized by charitable cooperation in peacebuilding, sponsored by the iPB IPB IPB IPB Insurance.
Dr. Brendan Organ, a transformative figure in the mid -west region, established the cooperation in 1979 as a northern cooperation, to enhance border ties. It is a charitable institution in building a leading peace in Ireland.
IPB PRIDE of Place was created to promote and celebrate the best in community development. The prizes recognize the efforts made by non -selfish people in making their local neighborhoods better for places to live, work and social communication. 2025 falls on the twenty -third year of awards.

He spoke at the launch of the mayor of Limrick, John Moran, saying; “It is a real honor for Limerick to host this year’s Pride of Place. These awards are the celebration that really reflects the heart of our societies and our soul. The people of Ireland take a great feeling of pride in the areas we call the country. This is clear with the national work that is often done.
“These awards realize that” a different kind of energy “that we are proud of – the daily efforts that make our cities, villages and neighborhoods thrive. I want to take this opportunity to welcome all groups to Limreik, thank them and congratulate them on everything they did.”
“These awards are the celebration of the spirit of society, the course and cooperation, in solidarity with societies throughout the country,” said the Director General, Limrick and the provincial council, Dr. Pat Dali.
