Sir Kerr Starmer urged European leaders to do more to counter Vladimir Putin’s attempts to sabotage the vital sea cables.
The Prime Minister told their European Union counterparts that military cooperation and largest industrial cooperation should be increased to strengthen defense on the continent.
His comments came when Europe rushed to think about how to respond to the return of Donald Trump to the White House.

The US President threatened to take over Greenland, a region that is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, warning of the possibility of slapping the definitions on the European Union goods and demanding an increase in defensive spending from NATO members on the continent.

Sir Kerr addressed the leaders of the European Union at dinner in Brussels, where he became the first Prime Minister in the United Kingdom to attend a meeting in the European Council since Britain left the European Union.
He said: “We need to deepen cooperation to protect ourselves from the threats of the state and sabotage, including the infrastructure of the sea under the seas.”
