Kim Caldwell, women’s basketball coach in Tennessee, agreed to extend a one -year contract with the school on Monday after the first season of the first time.

Tennessee won the national championships in 1987, 1989, 1991, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2007 and 2008, but did not advance until the regional final since the retirement of the former hall coach Pat Sumit after the 2011-12 season.
