The Karnataka government blames RCB on IPL 2025 celebrations celebrations; VIRAT KOHLI Video calls: Reports

Royal Contraves Bengaluru (RCB) continues to face heat at the IPL 2025 victory celebrations. Since the celebrations caused a stampede with 11 people dead, the Karnataka state government carries the responsible privilege.

The stampede outside the M Chinnaswamy in Bangaluru on July 4 was an unfortunate transformation of affairs. According to a report Times of India newspaperThe state government blames the RCB administration, DNA Networks Private Limited (event partner), and the Karnataka State State of Cricket (KSCA) to celebrate the celebrations without prior consultation.

The state said in a report submitted to the Supreme Court: “I decided unilaterally to maintain the celebration of victory without prior consulting with the police and without obtaining permissions or licensing necessary for such celebrations.”

Moreover, the Karnataka state government also summoned RCB to post a video of Kohli to promote celebrations. Police denied a request to organize a victory offer about the stadium in this short notice. However, the concession placed advertising publications on official social media platforms early on June 4.

Then RCB posted another video of Virat Kohli, where he said that the team wanted to celebrate the people of Bangaluru and the fans when they return to the city.

The report added: “It is appropriate to note that just a hint was submitted by the organizers; there was no request for permissions in the specified coordination, and no necessary information was provided to the relevant departments to expect the assembly and make adequate preparations.”

With the highlight of procedural violations, the state cited the license of assemblies and processions (Bangalore City), 2009.

RCB beat PBKS to win the IPL Mayden title

Meanwhile, RCB beat the Punjab kings (PBKS) in the IPL 2025 final to raise the cup before marriage. They played three finals in 2009, 2011 and 2016, but they lost on all three occasions.

This time, they crossed the finish line to put an end to a long wait for 18 years. In the final match in Ahmed Abad on June 3, they published a total of 190/9 beating first. Firat Kohli is one of the highest degrees with 43 while others have made valuable contributions.

PBKS fought hard and approached, but they were unable to fix the target. They ended in 7/184, lost six runs. Bhuvnesshwar Kumar and Krunal Pandya got two share of each of them.

Being consistent throughout the season, they finished second after the league stage and defeated PBKS in the first qualifiers as well.
