UK sanctions Russian spies are trying to “destabilize Europe” – Irish news

The United Kingdom has imposed a series of Russian spies and infiltrators, accusing them of implementing a “destabilization of Europe” campaign.

Among the people who were approved are a unit targeting the daughter of Sergey Skripal before the Russian agents tried to kill him in Salisbury with the Novichok neuroscientist.

Others are accused of belonging to units that carried out internet attacks in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and the United States – while facilitating strikes on civilian targets in Ukraine.

Many men approved on Friday are required by the FBI in the United States.
