Britain struck more than ten Russian spies with a wave of sanctions, and targeted those who accused them of managing a “sustainable campaign” of malicious activity against the United Kingdom.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed 18 officers from the Russian espionage agency The GRU, in addition to hitting three units with measures aimed at taking commercial measures on Vladimir Putin’s increasing aggression abroad.
She said that the targeted military intelligence officers “are responsible for spreading chaos and turmoil based on Putin’s orders,” and included those who targeted the former Russian spying family Sergey Skripal.

The approved officers targeted a device belonging to the daughter of Mr. Skripal Yulia with harmful harmful programs known as X-Agent five years before the puppy tried to kill them in Salisbury with the deadly Novichok agent.
Units are also accused of a long campaign of electronic attacks throughout Europe, including in Britain, which aims to destabilize the continent and undermine democratic institutions.
Foreign Minister David Lami said: “Jero spies run a campaign to destabilize Europe, undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty and threaten the safety of British citizens,” said Foreign Minister David Lami.
He added: “The Kremlin must undoubtedly be: We see what they are trying to do in the shade and we will not tolerate this. For this reason we take decisive measures with penalties against Russian spies.”
On March 15, 2022, shortly after the invasion of Russia, Ukraine, the unit carried out 26,165 online polls on civilian bombs in Mariopol, southern Ukraine and in Kharkiv, eastern Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

One of the goals was the Mariopol theater. Civilians who possess the interior of Russian bombs have drew the word “children” abroad in the hope that they will be rescued.
But the next day, the theater was injured by Russian air strikes, killing about 600 people, including children, according to the Associated Press investigation.
In 2013, officers of the same unit targeted the daughter of former Russian espionage Sergey Skripal with malicious programs, designed to harm or infiltrate computer systems, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 2018, Mr. Skripal and his daughter Yulia were poisoned with a neuroscientist in the English city of Salisbury, in an attack, the British government said was organized by Russian intelligence. Skripals survived the attack on British soil but a woman, Dawn Sturges, was killed after her boyfriend stumbled through the poison in the perfume bottle.

The sanctions also targeted the Africa Initiative, which the Foreign Ministry said that Russian intelligence staff are working in carrying out information operations in Africa, including undermining public health programs and destabilizing in various countries.
Russia’s sabotage and disruption campaign throughout Europe ranges from electronic attacks, advertising to deliberate burning and assassination attempt. Mr. Lammy said: “Putin’s hybrid threats and aggression will never break our solution. The UK’s support for Ukraine’s security and European security is IronClad.”
More than 70 different attacks were attributed to Russia by Western officials since the invasion.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the military intelligence units that were approved on Friday targeted foreign aid to Kiev, ports, infrastructure, border crossings, as well as technology companies.
Although the targeting of GRU staff through sanctions is likely to have a limited impact, the ministry said that the goal is to raise awareness of Russia’s campaign and raise the cost to people who work in its services, including making them more difficult to travel.
